Job summary

University Christian Church in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a part-time Social Media Coordinator to shape our online voice and extend ministry impact across platforms. You will plan content, schedule posts, adapt materials, and collaborate with the Communications Team to support worship events and programs.

The role focuses on writing clear captions, maintaining brand consistency, and analyzing basic engagement to improve reach.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; related coursework preferred.
1–2 years of experience managing social media or creating digital content preferred.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Familiarity with major social platforms and scheduling/analytics tools.
Experience with Canva or similar content creation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update UCC’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and others).
Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with worship events and campaigns.
Adapt graphics, photos, videos and materials for social use.
Write, edit, and proofread captions reflecting UCC’s voice and brand.
Create and maintain social media event pages and publish content timely.
Review performance, track basic metrics, and suggest improvements.
Stay current on platform features, trends, and accessibility.
