Job summary

St. Ann's Home in Methuen, MA seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support SLPs with services to students. The position is temporary, 15-20 hours per week through February 2027, with responsibilities across school settings.

The SLPA will implement therapy activities, collect progress data, and collaborate with teachers and related staff under supervision of the licensed SLP and Head of School.

Qualifications

• Must complete an approved course of academic study, as well as a supervised clinical experience.
• Must pass the ASHA Assistants Certification Exam.
• Meet credentialing requirements for SLPA practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement speech and language therapy activities and treatment plans under supervision.
• Provide individual and small-group interventions for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Maintain accurate records and data regarding progress toward IEP goals.
• Assist in preparing therapy materials and instructional resources.
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to support student success.
• Report student progress and concerns to the supervising SLP.
