Tallassee Health & Rehab is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The role requires writing measurable, patient-specific goals and delivering interventions tailored to individual needs.

You will document patient progress, participate as part of an interdisciplinary team, and ensure quality care while maintaining privacy and professional conduct.

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, and/or swallowing disorders.
• Write clear, measurable goals tailored to individual patient needs.
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment data.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to determine patient needs.

Perform evaluations and treatmentsas neededwhile ensuringthe highest degree of quality care is maintained. Write clear, realistic, measurable goals specific to the individual patient needs. Treat patients with respect, dignity, and privacy. Motivate patients to participate in therapy treatment. Usecreative therapy interventions specific to the patients’ interests and needs to obtain positive patient outcomes and progress.Participate as an interdisciplinary team member to determine potential patient needs and plan of care. Accurately complete documentation ofqualitative and quantitative data of patient progresswithin designated time period. Demonstrate the ability to utilize the computer system effectively, adhering to company policy.

If applying for an Outpatient position, you must possess an active AHA (American Heart Association)CPR certification.
