Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting or teaching skating classes is preferred.
• Figure skaters should have achieved and passed ISI Freestyle 4 or USFS Freeskate 4.
• Hockey players should have participated in multiple years of formal league play.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use customer service skills to control customer interactions.
• Educate the public to the habits and attitudes of safe ice activities.
• Accurately evaluate placements of students for skating instructions.
• Prepare/completes program documents like attendance and recommendations.
• Enforce all rules regarding rink policies and operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
• Complete all tasks assigned by the Program Supervisor on time.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings.
