Job summary

Samuel Merritt University is seeking an Adjunct Simulation Educator to support the Health Sciences Simulation Center across SMU campuses. You will lead simulation-based learning sessions, debrief learners, and mentor SMU faculty in evidence-based SBL design and delivery.

You will collaborate with the Simulation Technology Specialist and cross-disciplinary programs to implement curricula, evaluate learner competencies, and promote interprofessional education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health profession, education or simulation.
• Prefer CHSE certification.
• Experience in simulation-based teaching is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate as a team member and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead simulation-based learning sessions and debrief learners.
• Mentor SMU faculty in SBL design, delivery and assessment.
• Collaborate with STS to ensure proper tech setup and support.
• Contribute to interprofessional education activities across programs.
• Develop, implement and evaluate SBL curricula and resources.
