Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an adult with developmental disabilities in Freehold, NJ. This one-to-one role includes support at home and in the community, focusing on independence, connection, and personal goals.

Schedule: Choose one day per week, about 8 hours. Driving during shifts is required; a vehicle is required. Pay: $17–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Sign language familiarity is required.
• Dependable and patient, comfortable working one-to-one.
• Able to commit consistently to one agreed day each week and have a vehicle for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support at home and/or in the community. Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Follow individualized support instructions, help maintain safety, and complete required documentation; communicate reliably with the Kindly Direct Care team.
