Job summary

Lexima is seeking a Van Driver to transport guests to designated locations, while keeping the vehicle clean and assisting with concierge duties. The role requires strong navigation and scheduling skills to coordinate multiple pick-ups and drop-offs, with friendly service during a guest's stay at the hotel.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year driving experience
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).

• Maintain cleanliness of motor entrance front door and lobby area.
• Maintain cleanliness of van interior and exterior.
• Drive van as per scheduled runs.

Position Summary

The Van Driver is responsible for driving guests to designated locations, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and concierge duties. Van Drivers must have strong analytical and navigation skills with the ability to coordinate multiple pick-ups and drop-offs on a schedule under continuously changing circumstances. Drive the van according to scheduled van runs and/or as needed for guests and accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive courteous and efficient manner.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This position could be either full-time or part-time. All full-time positions are benefit elig. Operational demands for this position require variations in shift days, starting times and hours worked in a week.

Work Environment

This position will be located at a hotel and primarily work in the kitchen or restaurant/bar area.
