St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission is hiring a part-time after-school shuttle bus and van driver to safely transport children from local schools to our After School Program. This role follows the Charleston County School District calendar with a 2:00 PM–4:30 PM schedule and no CDL is required.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.50 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include inspections, safe transport, and professional communication with staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 to drive a 14-passenger bus or 18 to drive a 7-passenger van.
• Valid driver license.
• Driving record meets agency insurance eligibility requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Available to maintain a consistent Monday-Friday afternoon schedule.
• Experience with children or youth preferred.

St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission is hiring a part time after school shuttle bus & van driver to safely transport children from local schools to our After School Program. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent weekday afternoon schedule during the school year. No CDL required.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM to approximately 4:30 PM, following the Charleston County School District calendar.

Starting Pay:

Pay range $17.00 - $18.50, based on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Safely transport children in a 14-passenger mini-bus, or a 7-passenger van
• Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a safe, positive environment for passengers
• Follow all traffic laws and agency safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and school personnel
