Job summary

MINISO USA is seeking a Shift Leader to assist the Store Manager with daily operations, train associates, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role helps achieve KPIs, uphold store standards, and manage tasks from cashiering to shipment processing.

The Shift Leader will actively promote the store’s membership program, maintain visual merchandising, and ensure open/close procedures are performed with safety in mind. Travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level knowledge not required; strong leadership and customer service focus.
• Experience supervising retail staff or shift leadership in a store environment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel between store locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive sales and meet store KPI goals.
• Train and develop sales associates for product knowledge and customer engagement on floor and at register.
• Assist with daily operations: replenishment, fronting, store maintenance, cash handling, and merchandising.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure proper stock levels with visual merchandising updates.
• Open and close the store, ensure recovery and cleanliness, comply with safety procedures.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate to Store Manager when needed.
• Support Loss Prevention efforts and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain a professional, enthusiastic attitude aligned with MINISO USA’s customer commitment.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Participate in store promotions and sales events to support business objectives.

Job Summary

The Shift Leader plays a key role in assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, training associates, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role contributes to achieving business KPIs, upholding store standards, and assisting with various operational tasks, including cashiering, opening and closing, merchandising, customer engagement, cash management, store upkeep, and shipment processing. Additionally, the Shift Leader will actively promote the store’s membership program to foster customer loyalty. Essential Job Functions

• Lead by example to drive sales, meet store KPI goals, and exceed customer expectations.

• Assist the store manager in training and developing sales associates to ensure strong product knowledge and customer engagement on the sales floor & at the register.

• Help support daily operations, including replenishment, fronting, store maintenance, cash handling, and merchandising.

• Maintain store appearance, ensure proper stock levels, and implement visual merchandising updates.

• Open and close the store, ensuring the store is recovered and clean and in compliance with safety and operational procedures.

• Be empowered to resolve customer concerns professionally and elevate issues to Store Manager when necessary.

• Support Loss Prevention efforts and ensure adherence to all company policies designed to prevent loss.

• Maintain a professional attitude, demonstrating enthusiasm and sincerity that aligns with MINISO USA’s customer commitment.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.

• Participate in store promotions and sales events to support overall business objectives.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Basic knowledge of retail operations and POS systems.
• Ability to travel between store locations as needed.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a keyholder, supervisor, or shift leader, preferably in the retail industry.

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $18.50 /Hr.
