Job summary

Advantage Solutions Hawaii is seeking a Shift Coordinator to assist with daily store operations and event openings and closings, while upholding safety, customer service, and product quality. You will engage Costco members through product demonstrations, education, and enthusiastic promotion, and you may support demo setups, carts, equipment, and supplies.

No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 6 hours
• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner
• Capable of preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment and supporting demo events
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork in a retail environment
• Safety-first mindset in a retail environment

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events. They will support adherence to all warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations and store cleanliness and serve as a role model & resource for other staff. The Shift Coordinator, while performing breaks or events, will influence the buyer’s behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating the product.

• Assist with food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
