Job summary

Founders Property Management in Paradise Valley, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Service Technician to ensure apartment homes are market ready and well maintained. You will perform general upkeep across buildings and grounds, handle resident work orders, and help prepare units for rent at our Phoenix-area properties.

We value strong communication, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude. HVAC/plumbing tasks, safety practices, and on-call weekend coverage are part of this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and on-call as needed.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring our apartment homes are market ready and walked daily.
• Performs general maintenance: painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC.
• Maintains pool: chemical testing and logs.
• Light electrical repairs and bulb replacement; ensure lighting inspections are up to date.
• Inspects work for conformance to specifications and resident satisfaction.
• Maintains records for preventive maintenance and work orders.

Essential duties and responsibilities :

• Ensuring our apartment homes are market ready and walked daily
• Participates in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds, completing resident work orders, and preparing units for rent; in a timely manner. Duties may include:

• Painting, plumbing, carpentry work, drywall, electrical, HVAC.
• Cleaning and maintaining pool by emptying skimmers, testing chemicals, maintaining logs.
• Light electrical repairs on items such as, appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, and ensures that all routine lighting inspections are completed and burnt-out bulbs are being replaced as necessary.
• Door locks, re-keying, P.O. boxes and locks
• Following service process through to completion then inspects work for conformance to specifications and standards and ensures resident satisfaction.

• Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Assists in distribution of all company or community-issued notices (i.e., bad weather, emergency, etc.).
• Walks market ready units daily and communicates needed supplies or assistance needed for completion.
• Participates in ensuring safe practices are adhered to; upholds policies of the community; ensures professionalism in achieving work goals.
• Supports a harmonious team environment
• Maintains accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, work order and other required documentation pertaining to job.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and rotate being on call.
• All other duties assigned.
