Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Great Falls, MT is hiring a Part-Time Service Shop Technician and Delivery to diagnose and maintain customer and store equipment, including bikes, exercise gear, skis, and other merchandise.

The role involves ordering parts, safely lifting, and helping deliver and load gear to customers' homes or the store. The ideal candidate has a clean driver's license and is willing to obtain DOT certification; mechanical know-how is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a clean, valid driver’s license.
• Willing to obtain DOT certification and meet Scheels driving standards.
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and maintain customer/store equipment (bikes, skis, hockey gear, etc.).
• Order and follow up with vendors for repair parts.
• Safely fill CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markers.
• Maintain accurate records for store and customer equipment.
• Assist with delivering/loading equipment to customers or residences.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Be flexible to work between 9am–9pm, Mon–Sat, and 11am–6pm Sun.

Compensation/Scheduling:

Compensation $18.00 hourly DOE. Daytime or evening availability required (to include two weekends per month). Average 20 hours per week.

Scheels is willing to train for this position. A great attitude and mechanical ability is all the experience needed.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately diagnose and provide maintenance and assembly of customer and store equipment. Equipment may involve bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, skis, hockey skates and sticks, baseball gloves and bats, golf clubs, racquet sports, archery arrows, paintball markers, and other merchandise in a Scheels Store
• Order and follow up with vendors for repair parts
• Safely fill CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markers
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment
• Assist with delivering and loading customer equipment and merchandise at the store and to customer residences
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Must be flexible to work assigned schedules between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 11 am and 6 pm on Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate must possess a clean, valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain DOT certification and meet Scheels driving standards. Mechanical knowledge is preferred

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
