The Montvale Senior Living in Springfield, IL is seeking a friendly Part-Time Server. You will greet residents, assist in dining service, and contribute to a warm, home-like environment. This role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and attentive service during dinner shifts.

Responsibilities include setting up, assisting residents during meals, bussing tables, and maintaining a tidy dining room while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. A positive attitude toward residents is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• English literacy at a minimum of 8th grade with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude with a love for residents.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and after a fall.
• Criminal clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Assist with meal service setup and bussing tables.
• Keep dining areas tidy and organized to support smooth service.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about dietary changes or concerns.
