Job summary

Liberty Senior Living in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced SERVER for part-time daytime shifts. You will deliver attentive dining room service to tenants and guests, assist with seating, and support the kitchen during meal periods.

Maintain a neat appearance, follow sanitation policies, and help with bussing, cleaning, and restocking. Strong communication and a patient, courteous attitude toward the elderly are essential to create a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; 6+ months in a restaurant or related setting.
• Willing to obtain food safety certification.
• Service-oriented experience preferred.
• Patient, tactful, and positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Attends trainings and department meetings when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provides all areas of service to tenants and guests in dining room.
• Uses good communication for performing sequence of service.
• Maintains neat, presentable appearance per Liberty dress code.
• Maintains good relationships with tenants and guests.
• Assists with seating and escorts tenants as needed.
• Sets/clears tables and arranges seating with proper service ware.
• Ensures cleanliness and condition of china and flatware.
• Assists in food preparation/plating and beverage service as needed.
• Keeps supplies stocked and rotates menus and service forms.
• Cleans dining areas, kitchen, and equipment per sanitation schedules.
• Reports guest complaints to Dining supervisors and assists in resolving them.
