Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic server to join Waterstone Boca F&B-21165. This part-time position offers a flexible, customer-focused environment with daily pay options and a comprehensive benefits program.

As a member of SHG, you’ll support hospitality excellence, handle orders, process payments, and contribute to an engaging guest experience in Boca Raton, FL. Training and advancement opportunities are provided within a diverse team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school education or higher (post-secondary preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in a hotel/restaurant serving role.

Responsibilities

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests.
• Monitors food distribution to ensure correct delivery and appealing presentation.
• Checks station before/during/after shift for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Complies with state, federal and corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol to minors or intoxicated guests.
• Familiar with all menu items, preparation and service procedures.
• Totals checks, presents to guests and processes payments.
• Assists with bussing tables and related duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverage to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure.
• Totals checks, presents to guests and accept payment
• Assists with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
