Job summary

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in Gainesville, FL is seeking a part-time server to provide friendly, attentive service. You will take orders, input them into the POS, deliver dishes and drinks, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal.

Candidates should have strong English communication skills, a courteous demeanor, and the ability to stand and carry trays for extended periods. A minimum of one year serving experience is preferred, with flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
• Demonstrating a high level of organization, cleanliness and a sense-of-urgency.
• Flexible schedule - ability to work days, nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include order-taking, delivery and clearing.
• Check station for proper setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shift.
• Greets guests and explains specials/promotions to guests.
• Take orders and input into POS to inform kitchen.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
