Job summary

Gemstone Senior Living Communities in San Antonio is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant (PRN/Part Time) to provide personal care and support while preserving each resident's independence. You will work within the Resident Services Department under the Wellness Director, helping with Activities of Daily Living, dining, and daily tasks.

This role requires reliability, teamwork, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with seniors while upholding privacy and independence.
• Ability to organize tasks with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow care plans.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and being on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and dining.
• Observe changes in health and report to Wellness Director.
• Record incidents and rounding details before shift end.
• Maintain clean Wellness Center and breakroom.
• Provide shift-to-shift reports and follow service plans.
