Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare or recreational setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed.
• Familiarity with recreational activities and program planning a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Develop and implement recreational programs and events that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
• Assist with planning and execution of special events (birthdays, holidays, themed activities).
• Provide support with daily living tasks as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all activities and events.
• Collaborate with other care staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
