Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring a Retail Security Officer to safeguard people and property at client sites within our portfolio. You will supervise security operations on shift, manage staff, log incidents, and coordinate with site leadership to ensure high-quality protection services.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, 3 years of security experience, a valid Texas Level II security license and a driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 3 years security officer experience.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid Level II Texas Security License and valid driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Stand for extended periods; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of an assigned Client site on shift.
• Report to Site Supervisor/Director and manage security staff.
• Schedule, train, coach and develop the team.
• Ensure high quality security services to protect people and property.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; coordinate investigations.
• Maintain logs, post orders, and access control procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Perform site-specific training and annual refreshers.
