Job summary

TRIDENT Security Solutions is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Reno, NV. The role involves patrolling, access control, and delivering professional security services during shifts that include weekends and holidays. A Nevada Guard Card and a valid driver’s license are required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed and up to date on post orders, pass-down logs, and site directives.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and the public.
• Forward concerns or complaints to the TRIDENT representative.
• Ensure documentation and reports are thorough and timely.
• Conduct site patrols and oversee access control procedures.
• Maintain PPE compliance and a safe work environment.
• Provide first aid, CPR, and AED during medical situations.
• Check doors and gates to ensure secure entry/exit points.
• Perform interior building walkthroughs and report hazards.
• Escalate incidents to the proper chain of command.
