Job summary

Allied Universal in Wichita Falls, TX is hiring a part-time Security Officer for Screening Operations. You will monitor access points, screen personnel and packages, and maintain a welcoming, orderly site while delivering dependable customer service.

This role offers weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with a pay rate of $16.82 per hour and the chance to join a collaborative team. Minimum requirements include 6 months security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Must be at least 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, employee entrances, and designated screening areas; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, and document observations and incidents in required reports.
