Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Security Officer for Fort Atkinson, WI. This part-time role focuses on protecting people and property while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, reporting hazards, and collaborating with client staff. Prior security or military experience is a plus; the role includes training, benefits, and opportunities to move into full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• HS Diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Basic computer/technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Calm, professional interaction with a wide range of individuals.
• Attention to detail and alertness during shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with quick, effective judgement.
• Must participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client's premises in various conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals.
• Carry out duties of similar scope as required.
