Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver for Jamaica, NY. The role offers flexible, guaranteed hours with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

The pay rate is $18.87 per hour, with a daytime schedule 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM on Fridays and regular site duties. This position supports part‑time employment with potential growth toward full‑time hours.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents with calm, professional problem-solving and use established reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Prepare clear activity logs and incident reports; communicate with Allied Universal supervision.
