Pay rate is $19.00 per hour with a split daytime/evening schedule. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and public service personnel as directed.
