Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coordinator to provide reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts. The role emphasizes customer service, security procedures, and incident response at a financial institution site.

The position offers a part-time schedule with a 6-month anchor shift commitment, a starting pay of $24.50 per hour, and the chance to grow toward full-time hours through our Earn More program.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
