Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer. You will patrol financial institution locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to site protocols.

Role offers a part-time schedule with daytime shifts and opportunities to grow within the company, including access to the Claim a Shift platform for additional roles and training. Competitive hourly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and follow site security procedures at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorised activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, customers, visitors, and local responders while escalating concerns to site leadership and management.
