Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Roster Management in Wilmington, DE. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with a fixed shift and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will support security procedures, monitor access, and respond to incidents while working at a site with potential for growth toward full‑time opportunities. The position pays $20.00 per hour with a daytime shift and a commitment to up to 40 hours

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as per laws.
• A drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the site by verifying credentials and maintaining entry records.
• Monitor entry points, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment and report incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and assist with notifications.
• Conduct regular patrols and document observations to deter unauthorized activity.
