Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at White Haven, PA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Pay is $17.50 per hour with a schedule including Sundays, and a six-month anchor commitment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, driver, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas of the location.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
