Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Entry Access in Loxahatchee, FL for a part‑time role with fixed anchor shifts and options to pick up extra shifts. You’ll ensure access control and safety for residents and visitors at the designated site.

Responsibilities include monitoring entry points, responding to incidents, patrolling grounds, and documenting activity for site leadership, with a background check and licensure required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card or license required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
