Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced for Central Islip, NY. This role provides reliable, scheduled hours with the opportunity to earn more through additional shifts via our platform.

You will protect people and property, perform access control and patrols, and respond calmly to incidents. The position offers flexible part-time scheduling and on-site work with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout pharmaceutical operations areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry, delivery, and incident documentation.
• Follow site procedures for restricted areas, controlled materials, and alarm-related notifications while supporting a professional environment.
