Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Route Patrol in Louisville, KY. This position offers a flexible schedule with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $19.45 per hour with a pathway to scale your schedule from part-time toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week, based on business needs and your availability.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications per site requirements.
