Job summary

Allied Universal in Mead, CO is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Enhanced (Security Guard Retail Patrol) to provide reliable security and customer service at a retail distribution site. You will work fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts using our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $23.00 per hour. This role offers the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program and opportunities to build toward a full-time schedule, with training and growth opportunities within the industry

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents and observations.
