Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, patients, staff, and vendors in a professional manner while following site-specific security-related procedures.
• Monitor access to the healthcare location, verify visitor credentials as required, issue appropriate visitor access materials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Respond to security-related incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor front-desk communications, alarms, and cameras where assigned, and report unusual activity or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Support a welcoming healthcare environment by providing directions, answering general inquiries, and maintaining awareness of activity at the assigned post.
