Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Buffalo, NY. The role offers reliable fixed shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $17.41 per hour, with a daytime schedule from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM on Saturdays. This position supports site security procedures, incident response, and access control at a logistics location.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle gates, parking areas, trailers, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
