Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Incident Reporting in Houston, TX to provide security services with flexible, reliable hours and opportunities to earn more by picking up shifts across sites.

You will perform customer service, patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining site policies and safety procedures. This role offers part-time hours, 14.50 USD per hour, and opportunities to grow into a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
