Job summary

Allied Universal in Fremont, CA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Customer Service to serve and safeguard clients across tech/telecom environments. Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/locality.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; verify credentials and document visitors, contractors, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols; identify and report security concerns and unusual activity.
• Signpost a professional workplace by giving directions, answering inquiries, and reporting issues through proper channels.
