Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking entry-level and experienced security officers to patrol and secure premises, monitor access, and respond to alarms. Training will be provided for those with little experience.

This part-time, 3rd shift position offers a comprehensive benefits package. Established in 1953, Per Mar Security Services is a large Midwest, family-owned firm with extensive security solutions, including access control, alarms, cameras and investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Strong observation and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard at post, direct visitors, issue access badges and provide escorts as needed.
• Log visitor data and basic reports.
• Conduct foot patrols per post orders and respond to alarms.
• Identify safety hazards and report them.
• Wear and maintain PPE and follow PPE policies.
• Adhere to client site duties and post-orders; cover open shifts as needed.
