Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Menasha, WI is seeking a part-time Security Officer. The role focuses on delivering customer service while maintaining safety and security across client premises.

Officers perform access control, patrols, and rapid response to incidents, with emphasis on de-escalation, reporting, and teamwork to meet daily site goals. Training and support are provided to promote growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
