Securitas USA in Lexington, MA is seeking a Part Time Weekend Security Officer to maintain a safe, professional environment at a corporate office facility. The role includes monitoring access, patrolling, and delivering friendly customer service to employees and visitors.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 2pm-10pm or 11pm-7am, with pay rates of $20.60–$21.00 per hour. This position emphasizes alertness, discretion, and the ability to respond promptly to incidents while upholding company security

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and authorized guests.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including employee and visitor entry.
• Conduct regular patrols of the interior of the building, maybe exterior patrols also depending on client site.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, cameras, and other building security equipment.
• Verify identification, credentials, and visitor access as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and security reports.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and unusual activity.
• Contact appropriate emergency personnel when necessary and assist with emergency response procedures.
• Provide directions and general assistance to employees and visitors.
• Enforce site-specific security policies, procedures, and access-control protocols.
• Monitor deliveries, contractors, and other authorized vendors entering the facility.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the security team.
• Communicate effectively with site management, client representatives, employees, and fellow security personnel.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
