Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Nazareth, PA to provide professional front‑desk security, visitor management, and access control support. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, experience with access control and alarm panels, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
Experience with access control and badge management preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required by law and company policy.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by following site procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
Manage front‑desk access by greeting visitors, verifying IDs, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry records.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and access-control systems; report unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, contacting site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
Support delivery coordination, visitor directions, and other security‑related administrative duties.
