Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Services to provide visitor service and access control at a petrochemical site. The role offers fixed shifts and a flexibility to pick additional shifts via our platform to increase earnings.

The position pays $15.50 per hour and requires a 6-month anchor shift commitment with potential for more hours up to 40 per week. Candidates should be 18+ and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience handling access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a chemical/petrochemical site.
• Monitor front desk access, verify visitor credentials, issue passes and logs.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, and direct questions to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Monitor security equipment from the front desk and report issues.
