Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to support clients in healthcare, education, and finance across Southern New Jersey. The role uses our shift-pickup platform to help you build a flexible schedule while gaining site experience across industries.

Responsibilities include patrols on foot or in vehicle, monitoring for hazards, responding to alarms, and assisting customers with a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed) and able to work irregular shifts.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions; monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized entrance and observe arrival/departure of personnel.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
