Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, for a technology campus. This part-time role emphasizes customer service, visible presence, and routine patrols while maintaining safety and access control.

You will support incidents, alarms, and reports with professionalism and clear communication. Requirements include a valid California driver's license, minimum one year security experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology campus by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, facility issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive workplace environment.
