Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Driver Emergency Assistance in Reading, PA to monitor, assist clients, and provide excellent service. The role blends security procedures with customer interactions, requiring a valid EMT certification and a clean driving record.

You will work Fri/Sat nights 10 PM–6 AM, with a pay rate of $25.10 per hour and access to our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Possess EMT certification and be able to provide emergency support as needed.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet for reporting and shift management.
• Have customer service experience; communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies, including emergency response when needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and resolve issues with a proactive, problem‑solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the site and perimeter to deter incidents.
