Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer focused on Dispatch Communications. You will provide customer service to visitors and staff, monitor alarms, cameras, and access-control systems, and coordinate responses to incidents at a government cultural location.

This role offers weekend shifts (Sat & Sun, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with opportunities to learn on the job and access to our exclusive tools and growth programs.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for this role; 18+ for unarmed positions.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a valid driver's license if driving positions are involved.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, contractors, and public agency personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, access-control activity, and incoming calls; document information accurately and relay requests to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, medical events, disturbances, facility concerns, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Maintain detailed dispatch logs, incident reports, and communications with responding personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior/exterior areas to identify security concerns.
