Job summary

Allied Universal, Milpitas, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Radio Dispatch to monitor and protect client sites across logistics and distribution environments. The role emphasizes responsive communication, incident handling, and delivering top-notch customer service while supporting a collaborative security team.

You will work a DayTime schedule with shifts Friday and Saturday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, at $27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, and coordinate the flow of information between officers, site contacts, and/or emergency responders in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by gathering details, prioritizing requests, and relaying timely updates to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records to support day-to-day operations and help address security-related concerns across the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
