Job summary

Wyndy is seeking a caring nanny in San Diego, CA, to support children from infants to preschoolers in a safe, engaging environment. The role is part-time with pay ranging from $18 to $27 per hour and starts after interview.

You will collaborate with families, plan developmentally appropriate activities, maintain hygiene, monitor health, and communicate progress with parents, while prioritizing safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, supportive atmosphere for children aged infants to preschool
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to meet each child's needs
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to foster cognitive, social, and physical development
• Maintain a clean, safe childcare space and follow safety standards
• Supervise children during meals, playtime, and rest periods
• Provide positive guidance and resolve conflicts with patience and respect
• Communicate progress, concerns, and achievements with parents
• Follow proper hygiene practices including diapering, toilet assistance, and handwashing
• Be attentive to children's health needs and seek medical attention when necessary
• Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills
