Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Qualifying fields include Atmospheric Science, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, Oceanography, Meteorology, Physical Geography.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mastery of their specific discipline.
• Employ teaching methods using appropriate technology across modalities to facilitate student learning.
• Support diverse learners with responsive pedagogical techniques.
• Examine and adapt instructional, relational, and classroom practices to engage and support students.
• Engage in student consultation, course preparation, and syllabus development.
• Provide prompt and constructive feedback to students via office hours and assessments.
• Provide timely responses to student emails.
• Adhere to reporting deadlines (grades, enrollment verification, syllabi, textbook adoption).
• Participate in service to the college and community.
