Job summary

The University of New Mexico-Gallup Branch, Math, Business, Science, and Technology Division, seeks qualified temporary part-time adjunct faculty to teach lower division courses (1000–2000 level) face-to-face or develop courses for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

Positions depend on enrollment and course offerings; instructors are responsible for delivering content, meeting schedules, grading, and reporting grades per division guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the discipline or subfield for which you are applying.
• Master’s degree or higher in a discipline other than that for which you are applying, and completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline or subfield.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower division courses (1000–2000 level) face-to-face or develop courses as needed.
• Meet face-to-face with classes during assigned times which may include evenings or weekends; deliver content and develop assignments.
• Grade assignments, report grades, and assess student learning as directed by the division chair.
• Positions contingent on enrollment levels and course offerings each semester; report to the division chair.

Education

Master’s Degree in the discipline or subfield

Master’s degree or higher in another discipline + 18 graduate credits
