Job summary

Tri County Transportation Inc. is seeking a part-time school van driver to transport students on a fixed morning and afternoon route. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and ensure student safety while the bus is in service.

No CDL is required; paid training is provided. Work hours roughly 6:00–9:00 a.m. and 1:30–5:00 p.m., with a 4.5‑hour paid day and potential for optional field trips.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Dependable about time and schedules.
• Pass MVR, background check, clearances, a DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school van on a set morning and afternoon route.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Check the vehicle after each route and manage student behavior safely.
• Handle occasional field trips or activity runs as needed.
